Every time I come here the barista at the drive through is always so pleasant and welcoming. I love getting my drinks here!!!
I don't like to give bad feedback and try to keep things positive but the truth is not always like that.
So here you go. Starbucks announced you could come in and get a free holiday Red cup with any holiday beverage on Nov 2nd so of course I wanted in on that action.
After trying for over an hour to get the app to order my drink so I could Grab on the way into a conference with NO luck I went on in without coffee dreaming of my peppermint mocha until I could get to the first break that was long enough to warrant me running to the closet Starbucks(again trying every chance I could to get my drink ordered and the app still not working)
I Finally make it to a long enough break and rush to get my drink and notice a sweet older gentlemen who has his beverage and is questioning why it isn't in a red reusable cup( we can clearly see the cups behind the counter) He is told RATHER SNARKY "Oh yeah that was just for the first 100 people but I can sell you one it's really pretty". The older gentlemen was beyond puzzled because NO WHERE did it say 1st 100 people? I questioned the employee too and on e again he said "want to buy it?"
The older gentlemen walked away in shock with his overpriced holiday drink obviously disappointed and I left w/o a beverage out of sheer principle.
First I'm mad at myself for not buying the older man a cup(I thought of that later after the shock of how they treated him wore off and second I'm even madder they didn't give the man the cup?!?
No I obviously won't stop going to Starbucks, but I will drive past this one to the one on the next corner.
No the bad review isn't because the app didn't work or I didn't get the free cup but about how they treated an older kind gentlemen who would probably never even consider writing a yelp review or question the snarky young man about the false advertising and assume he probably misread it.
So there you go. That's why I won't be returning to this Starbucks
Ordered a matcha green tea latte with almond milk..
Was given a full grande cup of almond milk with unmixed green matcha powder at the top. Person at the front told me that's just how they come. I've ordered it many times and it's green color throughout when it's mixed properly. She told me to just try and mix it myself and then turned around and started to ignore me. It was almost $6.50 total which is the wrong price as well. The whole thing was just off putting.
If you don't know how to make something right and then get upset when a customer wants something remade or to actually pay the right price for the right drink.... maybe the line of barista work isn't the one for you?
second time they messed up wanted a starbucks double but somehow got an venti double shot on ice! if you want to get the wrong drink go to this starbucks! will be emailng kim again! better starbucks than this area can't be waiting for 5 minutes!!!!,when theirs no one in line!
I came here because it's the closest to my gym and I had two hours of work I needed to get done before I worked out.
I ordered a hot tea & a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was done quickly, so I sat back down and hopped on a short call with a coworker. I got off the call...and at least 10 minutes later realized they never made my tea. About a dozen other orders had been fulfilled, though.
(As soon as I reminded them they made me another one; it happens.)
Main annoyance: there is a lady here--probably a manager but may just be a barista--with an extremely loud voice. Not just for calling names (which would be fine), but while telling stories to her coworkers about people dying. Not really what I want to listen to while enjoying my drink and trying to work.
Next time, I'll chill at a different Starbucks.
